Chemical Peels
A Chemical Peel uses a solution of acid based chemicals to improve the appearance of the skin by lifting and exfoliating dead skin cells while stimulating the growth of new cells that are healthier and less pigmented. Chemical Peels deliver high concentrations of exfoliating acids to the skin to brighten and tone the skin. At Luminess Med Spa, we offer three different types of chemical peels, as listed below. * VI Peel
VI Peel is a medium-depth peel that can be tailored to an individual’s specific skin type and skin concerns. Similar to many chemical peels, the skin may flake or peel to reveal a smoother, softer texture and clearer, healthier skin! Consisting of 5 targeted blends, VI Peel can be used for client’s with sensitive skin, aging skin, acne and much more.
* BioRePeel
BioRePeel is a high quality formula that improves the skin surface, imperfections, and accelerates cell turnover. Results can be seen instantly and continue to improve over the following weeks. BioRePeel stimulates the reconstruction of collagen and elastin deep within the skin layer.
Unlike traditional peels, BioRePeel has zero to minimal shedding. This makes this peel perfect for a glow all year long.
* Cosmelan Peel
Cosmelan is the leading worldwide depigmentation method to treat spots with maximum efficacy and safety. Like many chemical peels, Cosmelan acts on the surface of the skin by chemically eliminating the top layers and contributing to its renewal. Cosmelan separates itself from traditional peels by using a regulating action to correct the overproduction of pigmentation to prevent the spots reappearance. While most peels act on the surface of the problem, the Cosmelan treatment targets the origin problem.
